There are many ways to find things to sell on eBay. Here are some lists that I use personally to get goods for my eBay business:
1. Yellowpages – a great list of names and contacts from retail to wholesale.
2. Alibaba – a huge global trade site, supplier from worldwide. Use your judgment and learn how to find a reliable supplier from the internet though.
3. Flea markets – you have to do a bit of searching in your local place. Flea markets are great places to find antiques items. Can be worth a lot in eBay. But do your research. Remember to negotiate though.
4. eBay wholesale lots – This is another of my favorite source. eBay wholesale lots can be dirt cheap, even after postage fees, you still make a fortune. Under each main category, there is a sub-category for wholesale in ebay.com, but category structures vary in different eBay sites.
5. Warehouse sales – as usual you get higher discounts for items purchased here. You can stock up your merchandise during sales and resell it later.
6. Your wardrobe, storeroom, attics or cupboard - If you have transformed from that modern working lady to a full time housewife, you will have lots of working clothes in good condition. Unless you wear that at home, why not clear your wardrobe and get some notes to bank in? And if you have kids, they outgrow so much faster on their clothes and toys than you being qualified to get an Adsense check. Exchange them for extra cash too.
Your storeroom junks could be your goldmine! Old magazines (especially with celebrities pictures), jewelleries, newspaper cuttings, that aged old radio which doesn’t work anymore. Someone might be looking for that piece of broken tape recorder, you never know they sell until you announce them out. Old junks are unique, you don’t get many competitors!
Remember this: One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
Who knows this could turn out to be a real cash machine for you. Just try out each of the list. You can start from no.6, we all start from there, and slowly move up the list to look for bulk lots.
